This little ceramic incense burner in the shape of a miniature shieling makes a lovely addition to your home.
The maker harvests very small batches of the local wild clay from a small waterfall in the forest, hand digging and processing it to make this Airidh incense burner.
Airidh is the Gaelic word for a shelter or shieling which is a small building often used in the summer where the farmer and his family would take his cattle to graze on common land.
As with all products stocked at Village Green this is a handmade item and so may vary slightly from the image in the photo. Clay, particularly wild clay is a natural product, each batch can vary slightly in colour. The Airidh in stock has a slightly darker red roof than pictured (see second image, house on right).
The burner comes with one incense cone, one ceramic cone holder and a faux, flickering battery tea light.
