Sisters Arabella and Charlotte, founders of skincare brand Raven Botanicals are this month's Village People. The facial oils, balms and clay masks that they produce from all natural ingredients are some of the best sellers at Village Green.

 
Where’s your favourite place to go in Scotland? 

Tyninghame in East Lothian, Tiree, Assynt. We really are spoilt for choice in Scotland, aren’t we?

 

How did you start doing what you now do? 

We’ve been experimenting with plants and potions from childhood! After detours into forensics, finance and fine art we’ve been refining our love of skincare and expertise in formulating in the last few years before deciding to create Raven Botanicals.

 

What was the best holiday you’ve ever been on?

Back-packing round India for weeks on end with our parents as children.

 

What was the first product you ever made?

Lip balms.

 

What’s the best thing about your job?

It’s great working alongside one another. Our Mum would have loved us doing this.

What's your favourite way to spend a day off?

Getting together with the kids and our Dad. Getting outside and sharing a meal and a G&T at the end of the day.
